From e-mails to PDF documents to group chats, Inhibi will gather and index information from communication channels you use and documents you feed it with. Build a data store on everything past and present that is relevant to your business, group or organization.
Knowledge is not data alone. It is also meta-data plus ways it is organized and stored. Inhibi will automatically find connections between chunks of information it gathers but also allow you to organize them with simple, yet effective tools like tags and filters.
To be useful, knowledge needs to be accessible and searchable. Inhibi will be a web application available on every modern web browser. It will have a powerful real-tine search capability to make sure you have all information at your fingertips.
Knowlegde management is about sharing and communication. We are building Inhibi in a way that blurs the difference between messages and documents. Turn your e-mail into a document or treat a document as a start of a quick chat with your team mates. Share it with others, making sure it is available to everyone involved.

When can we expect a release?
The simple answer is: it is ready when it is done. We would love to give you a specific date but we cannot honestly do so.
Are you planing to develop dedicated clients for Android or iOS?
At the moment there we are not commited to delivering such applications. We believe that with the advent of modern, standrds-based browsers and new capabilities offered by HTML 5 and CSS3, one can build a efficient, browser-only interface, similar to desktop environment or dedicated mobile applications.
You say that Inhibi will be able to access electronic mailboxes. Will I be able to use it as a web interface for my e-mails?
Definitelly! Although Inhibi is not primarily envisioned as an e-mail application, this medium of communication will be fully supported and the interface will encourage the using Inhibi as your interface of choice for managing e-mails, especially in business and collaborative environment.
Apart from e-mails, will it provide other modes of communication?
Yes, we are builidng in a group chat tool which will be an integral part of the whole experience.
Let’s make it clear - is it about document management? Messaging? Both?
Inhibi is about the kind of workflow where there is no particular difference between data, messages and processes. Let’s say you are chating with your group, discussing next steps in a project. This chat session is automatically recorded and stored as a part of your Inhibi space, becoming a document. But it can be easily converted into an e-mail and sent to someone without access to your space or become a wiki page for the internal knowledge database you keep in your company. Every operation of this kind is recorded so that you always know where a document came from.
Are you using any particular application framework?
Inhibi is based on our own application server which we calle DOA Platform. It is under development and will be open sourced once the first version is ready.
Are you going to publish a public API for Inhibi?
Yes. We want creative folks all around the world to use our API as much as possible, for example to integrate their Inhibi spaces with other tools they already use in their organizations.
What is the business model behind Inhibi?
Inhibi will be subscription based, with simple, monthly payments. No strings attached, though - you are in control of your data. If you decide to leave Inhibi, you can download a backup copy of everything you have stored in your Inhibi space.
